University of Wales Institute, Cardiff (UWIC) offered MSc. in Information Technology for 15 PCJT Software Engineers who were qualified in Java Technology as Professionals at the Institute of Java and Technological Studies (IJTS) Sri Lanka. Those Engineers were selected to follow the MSc. Program for the intake which commenced on 2011 July at the British School of Commerce in Sri Lanka. UWIC is the top most ranked university according to the UK university ranking system, which provides graduate and post graduate qualifications among all other UK universities that operate in Sri Lanka. |

Gerad Luckey Septimus Senerath a 22 years old PCJT qualified Software Engineer left Sri Lanka on first of April 2011 to accept his new appointment in Dubai as a SAP Engineer at Permasteelisa Gartner Co. He was offered the salary of Rs. 300,000 and accommodation allowance of 150,000. He was selected out of 3000 experienced professionals in Dubai. Gerad Luckey's achivement is a strong example to the young generation of Sri Lanka on planing their future higher educaion. The PCJT qualification provides new avenues for young generation to enter into the globle job market. |
